MOON PRESEASON
TOURNAMENTS
Moon has spots open for
its JV and Varsity Tournaments. See the attached flyers

DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
AND OPEN HOUSE
The Airport Ice Arena (AIA),
in association with the Moon Tigers, will be conducting
a Youth Developmental Hockey Program this season.
Please see the attached flyer for more information. To
kick off this program, there will be an Open House on
Saturday September 13th between 6 pm and 8:30
pm at the AIA (See attached). Representative of Moon
Hockey will be present to answer questions. Hope to
see you at the rink.
USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION
In order to play for
Moon Hockey, everyone needs to register with USA
Hockey. The following is a link to the online
registration page.

Just click the top
button “Ice Players & Coaches” and it will guide you
through the process. Once completed, please send a copy
of the registration confirmation to Rick Smitsky at
rick58-pgh@comcast.net.
In the event that you
also play on a PAHL team and they complete the
registration for you, please contact the registrar of
your organization to obtain a copy of the registration
confirmation and again send a copy to Yvonne. We will
be submitting our rosters to PIHL in the near future, so
please complete your registration soon.
Also, copies of the
Code of Conduct and Consent to Treat forms are linked on
the left side of this page. Each player must complete
these forms and turn them in prior to the first on-ice
practice. Please print these out, complete and return
to Rick.
TEAM
REPRESENTATIVES NEEDED
Team
Representatives are still needed for Moon’s JV team. If
you are interested in volunteering, please contact Rick
Smitsky as soon as possible.
If you have any questions regarding the roles and
responsibilities of a Team Representative please let me
know. Step up and be a part of the team!!!
JERSEYS
and SOCKS
Please be
sure to get down to Sportin' My Stuff at 148 McGovern
Blvd in Crescent if you need to order new jerseys and
socks for the upcoming season. Orders must be placed
by August 15th to be sure that you can have
your jersey in time for pictures and any pre-season
games. For those new to Moon Hockey, please be sure
to select your uniform number. Your preference will be
checked against the master listing to confirm its
availability. Only rostered Varsity players are
required to purchase a Black jersey; however, if they
wish, potential call-ups may purchase a black jersey.
In the event that players are called up to Varsity, the
team has several extra Black jerseys for their use in
games. For more information or directions, please
