After a multi-year hiatus volunteers from the Moon Area Hockey Association have relaunched the Moon Hockey Developmental Program.

The core goals of the program are to provide Moon Area youth players an added development opportunity in addition to their current organization, a chance to play with their peers and friends from within the Moon Area, the opportunity to be a part of the excitement of the Moon Hockey program and continue to build the foundation of Moon Area Hockey Association to ensure its future success. Players must be playing at the Squirt or Pee Wee level and have completed a learn to play hockey program prior to joining the Moon Developmental Program. The current time slot for this would be Saturday evenings 7 - 8:10 PM at Bairel Ice Center in Warrendale. Warrendale is the current home of Moon Hockey and your 2017-18 PIHL D2 Champion Tigers! Under the currently proposed structure the program would operate from October - March and meet twice a month so as to allow for development of the players but to not create a burden when added to each players current hockey commitments.
 
We continue to work with area programs to see how we work with them to provide our players and each of these organization an opportunity to grow in a competitive space with variety and regularity.
