Building the future today!

Moon Developmental Hockey operates in conjunction with the West Allegheny Little Indians as  co-op developmental program.  This co-op provides the opportunity for both programs to field competitive teams on both the Squirt and Pee Wee level while sharing resources such as ice time and coaching staff.

The core goals of the program are to provide youth players an added development opportunity in addition to their current organization, a chance to play with their peers and friends from within their district, the opportunity to be a part of the excitement of the Moon Hockey program and continue to build the foundation of Moon Area Hockey Association to ensure its future success.

Players must be playing at the Squirt or Pee Wee level and have completed a learn to play hockey program prior to joining the Developmental Program. The current time slot for this program is Saturday evenings 7 - 8:10 PM at Bairel Ice Center in Warrendale.  Under the currently structure the program operates from October - March and meets twice a month so as to allow for development of the players but to not create a burden when added to each players current hockey commitments.

We continue to work with area programs to provide our players, and each of these organizations, an opportunity to grow in a competitive space with variety and regularity.
